This is a small place and from outside looks like a shop, but do not be deceived...this place is an authentic Italian restaurant with fine dining. The food is amazing and the wines are flavourful. Ask the server for recommendations on the wine and they are a walking menu. They will help you choose best wine with the type of food you are eating. I tried the Gnooci Ala Vodka and it was lovely, the chef made changes as I wanted it.

We LOVE Mezza Luna. It is some of our favorite pasta in the entire Atlanta area. There are great restaurants in the city and plenty of notable competition but this restaurant’s food and service is amazing. We have eaten here quite often and it never falls short, the technique and excellent execution will never not impress. Their specials are always amazing and their focaccia bread service is worth a trip alone. I typically will pick one thing in my reviews that is neither a negative or positive but just something to note that is open to interpretation and for Mezza Luna something to take note of, their dining room can feel a bit tight. Now that being said, I will not fault them for this because as small business owners you have to make the best with you have and they do exactly that. This is a perfect example of not judging a book by its cover, it is absolutely amazing food. If you have a chance to talk to Chef Stefano, savor it. He is a world class chef, extremely nice and personable and loves talking about his food. The wine selection is phenomenal and the creme brulee cheesecake is one of the best desserts I’ve personally ever had.

My family and I visited on a Sunday early afternoon. We received a warm greeting and were seated promptly. We were served fresh bread and sparkling water. Our host Rick was very polite and friendly. He made us laugh and also recommended a very nice wine to complement our entrees. We did have calamari for an appetizer which as very good. My dish was the risotto ah fungi and I added shrimp 10/10. My toddler gad spaghetti and meat sauce which she loved. We will definitely be back for the amazing service and fresh authentic food.

Absolutely the best place me and my husband have ate at in a long time. We give this place a 10 out of 10!! First time here and we didn’t know to have a reservation but the hostess was so nice to accommodate us. Our server Madeline was so sweet and patient explaining the specials and the menu and was prompt with brining our drinks and food. The food was just amazing and the cheesecake was to die for! We will definitely be coming back!

I love Mezza Luna! I’ve been going here for years and it’s always a wonderful experience with great food and service. Pictured here is the butternut squash ravioli which they had as a special. The specials are always good! I recommend this place to people looking for a special dinner such as for a date, celebration, or meeting up with your favorite people. Try the limoncello cake!

The atmosphere would be a little better if the kitchen area wasn’t so loud. That’s the only area of improvement that I can offer. This place is great. Ricky L was our server and he rocks. So personal and ensured we enjoyed our meals. The specials were on pointe with what we were looking for. The rice balls as an appetizer, broccoli cheese soup with lobster, and the halibut spaghetti meal with clams and crab meat was amazing. And let’s not forget the delicious wine. We will definitely return.

An absolute GEM! We had a family dinner party of 12 and were handled perfectly with two tables. The food and service were beyond excellent! Authentic Italian with homemade pasta and sauces, very nice wine selection and fantastic desserts. A bit on the pricey side but very much worth it. Reservations suggested as it is not very large, the atmosphere was as if in and old Italian village. A real hidden Gem in Smyrna!

My family and I dined here for the first time last night. We have been Smyrna residents for 10 years and always passed this place, so I decided it was time to visit after reading all of the great reviews. It did not disappoint! The ambiance was wonderful. Our waiter Rick was knowledgeable and engaging! The food was so delicious that we're already planning our next visit! We will definitely recommend and will be back very soon!
